Pets are my passion and I couldn’t live without them! I have spent most of my life surrounded by animals. My parents owned German Shepherds and Cocker Spaniels while I was growing up and then had acquired all different kinds of pets including cats, love birds, an umbrella cockatoo, hamsters, fish, hamsters, horses, chickens and even a pig named Petunia and a duck named Donald. So naturally, I grew up a pet lover.

In November 1999, after leaving the entertainment industry working as an administrative assistant at the studios, I started my own pet sitting business called Critter Care. I provide house visits, dog park visits, daycare services, pet transportation, pet boarding (in your home or mine) and overnight services in the Los Angeles and South Bay areas.  I am also experienced in administering medications, (including but not limited to) subcutaneous fluids, working with pets with illnesses and disabilities, pets with separation anxiety, visual & hearing impairment, and rescued pets with lack of socialization skills.

I have provided numerous work hours at other doggy daycare facilities located in Manhattan Beach and El Segundo, CA as well as numerous hours of community service at local animal shelters and local pet rescue groups. I am an approved bottle foster feeder volunteer for City Shelters with previous volunteer experience at the South Los Angeles and Harbor Animal Shelters. I have also provided many hours working with pet rescue organizations, pet placement and have personally rescued animals off the streets and found them new, loving forever homes as well as fostering and bottle feeding newborn puppies and kittens in my own home.

I have appeared on “Good Day L.A.”‘s Adopt a Pet segment three times appearing with pets that I have personally rescued, in order for them to get more media exposure with the hopes of finding them new, forever homes.

I have dedicated my entire Facebook page to pet rescue with the maximum capacity of Facebook friends allowed at 5,000. My Facebook link is

I was previously contacted by a journalist that found me on my Facebook page that noticed many posts of pets that I had rescued and she decided to do a story on me on August 20, 2013 and published the story on 4 online syndications. Here is the link to those stories:

I currently reside in Lawndale, CA and provide my pet sitting services 7 days a week in a comfortable home environment, with a large fenced in front yard and side yard with a private “dog park” setting as well as working a part time position at an indoor doggy daycare center located in Carson, CA. I own 3 cats, (2 foster cats) and a Cocker Spaniel named Cutie, which I rescued from the Carson Animal Shelter in February 2008 and a Chihuahua named Chico, who I inherited from a previous landlord that abandoned him at that property. Critter Care has been a proud member of Pet Sitter’s International since 2002.
